Cristaldi’s Top 100 Wines of 2025

The first full year of Cristaldi & Co. ratings is coming to a glorious close with my Top 100 wines of 2025. 

(No applause, just seek out these labels!) 

You will no doubt recognize some of the names on 2025’s list, but there are plenty of off-the-beaten-path labels discovered during in-person tastings from California to Texas and New York State that are all worthy of your time and consideration. One thing I want to remind everyone is that this is my Top 100 of everything I tasted and reviewed for this site, so notably missing are Napa Valley wines, which I continue to cover for Decanter magazine. 

But wow, there is an incredible number of American wines outside of Napa from all around the U.S. that are seeing a quality revolution like no other time in American wine history. On that note,  I sincerely encourage you to venture outside your comfort zone and seek some of them out. Please spend some time reading my descriptions of wines that catch your eye.
