90-100: the “A” range — these are exceptional, showing superior craftsmanship and unique character. 

80-89: the “B” range — well-made spirits that are enjoyable and well-balanced but lack the depth of higher-rated examples. 

70-79: the “C” range — generally indicating acceptable spirits that may lack complexity or refinement.
