The Estate is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, fermented in large oak fermenters and some concrete, then pressed and aged for 22 months in 50% new French oak. It opens with beautiful dark fruit, sagebrush, and perfumed rose petal florals, all building on the palate into a full-bodied expression with richness and density. The tannins are robust, fine-grained, and focused, leading to a bright, lifted finish marked by saline-acid tension.

This Pinot Noir is compact, expressive, and focused, with a vivid savoury note reminiscent of Hermès leather, layered with espresso bean and crunchy cranberry and cherry fruit. Firm, mineral-laced tannins frame the medium-bodied palate, leading to a long, vivid finish of dried herbs and wet slate. Aged for 22.5 months in French oak barrels (22% new), where it completed malolactic fermentation. Only 482 cases produced.

This is a gorgeous expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from Ballard Canyon but distinctly Jonata in its elegance, structure, and complexity, layered with savory tobacco leaf, sage powder, a touch of white pepper, and cassis—alongside the fresh, wild currant character of New England. On the palate, the wine is extraordinary, with firm, sinewy, chocolatey tannins that are muscular and broad-shouldered. These resolve into dark berry-driven tones, with more cassis and currant fruit layered over a deep, saline mineral tension. Expressive notes of dried rose petals unfurl through a finish that is long, long, long.

This is a super expressive, hedonistic wine—full of joyful, buoyant black and red berry fruit. Lovely violet and candied pastille nuances float alongside ultra-fine, powdery tannins and a wet slate minerality. The finish is everlasting, floral, and utterly captivating.

Sourced entirely from the winery’s One Oak estate property, which surrounds the Wood family home, this wine is crafted from vines planted in 2019. Fermentations take place in open-top bins, followed by 18 months of aging in 25% new French oak. The wine opens with alluring aromatics of bright red berry fruit, savory mineral notes, and dusty wild herbs. On the palate, juicy berry fruit is framed by pronounced, broad-shouldered tannins with a rounded, velvety texture that’s beautifully integrated. Layers of baking spice and rose petal florals add further dimension. A compelling and structured young wine—definitely one to watch.
