The 2021 Brander Reserve is a savory, layered Cabernet Sauvignon, medium- to full-bodied, with red and black fruit woven throughout. A host of savory notes—walnut husk, tobacco leaf, and cigar box—intermingle with dried sage, finishing on a deep, earthy register of loamy soil, black olive, and licorice. Super savory and best enjoyed alongside herb-dusted pork loin or espresso-rubbed roasted meats.

Kærskov Vineyard, located in the center of the Los Olivos District AVA, is a high-density site planted 6’ x 3’ on clay-loam and river-stone soils. Ryan Carr planted the vineyard in 2014 and continues to farm it today. This Syrah was aged for 20 months in one-year-old French oak. Dark berry fruit is interwoven with anise, fennel seed, and cedarwood spice, all building across the full-bodied palate with chalky tannins and a lingering charcuterie-and-dried-violet finish.

Regeneratively farmed and composed of fruit from both Carhartt Canyon and Carhartt Mesa vineyards, this Mourvèdre was blended and aged for 18 months in oak, then bottled unfined and unfiltered. Wow—what an approachable, easy-drinking Mourvèdre, almost Pinot-like in its finesse and elegance. It leads with sweet and savory notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, and pomegranate, layered with espresso bean, dried strawberry, cherry coulis, and a hint of vanilla bean. Juicy, spicy, and mouthwatering on the palate, with satiny tannins and saline-acid tension, it finishes long and succulent, touched by sweet paprika.

Regeneratively farmed, aged for 18 months in oak, and bottled unfined and unfiltered, this is a generous and deeply appealing Petite Sirah. It opens with saturated notes of black cherry, plum, and blackberry, lifted by floral hints of violet and rose petal. Supple tannins bring a fine-grained texture, coating the palate with cocoa powder and resolving into a finish marked by ripe blue fruit, mineral tension, and spicy, mouthwatering acidity.

A zesty, zippy, and zingy Sauvignon Blanc bursting with green apple, pear, and sea grass character, accented by jasmine floral notes. A mouth-puckering squeeze of lemon-lime acidity keeps it light and lively, dancing across the palate.
This Sauvignon Blanc was grown in the heart of the Los Olivos District at Coquelicot Vineyard and Big Pond Vineyard, from Musqué and Clone 1 selections. The juice was cold-fermented in stainless steel and aged for only five months. The fruit is super ripe and tropical, calling to mind candied peach rings, honeydew melon, and creamy caramel. It’s generous and lush on the palate, finishing with a sweet spice note.
This is a truly enticing white wine with soft-toned aromatics reminiscent of the outer flesh of perfectly ripe fruit—the skin of a peach, plum, or apple—layered with a panoply of springtime florals and bright baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, it delivers sumptuous, lush, and silken fruit character, dusted with fresh crushed sea salt and drizzled with honey. Excellent mid-palate depth carries into a long, drawn-out, exuberantly zippy finish—an utterly fantastic and complex white that keeps you coming back for more.
